The Crown and Cushion in Great Gransden will be hosting kindly another Gamlingay Records acoustic night on Wednesday 12 December – see you there from 20:30.

Bring Mistletoe, a Christmas Crackers and be ready to join in with the odd Christmas tune to start the season off with a bang.

It’s back!

Full steam ahead. Final confirmation that the 5th incarnation of this legendary band competition will take place on Monday 4th June 2012 at Gamlingay’s ground-breaking new Eco-Hub.

If you want to be one of the 10 bands on the bill, fill in the application form below and send it to us. You’ll need a CD or link to some examples of your music and you must be available to play on the 4th June.

Prizes will include a recording session, photography and others.

On March 14th the record label is returning to the Crown and Cushion in Great Gransden. Varied acts, good beer and a refurbished pub. Who could want more. 7:30 start. Let Phil know if you want to play

A new regular Gamlingay Records session in the Pig and Falcon in St Neots is starting on 30th January. Any act that wants to play (solo artists, acoustic, bands… anything really, the more diverse the better) should contact Jay Roberts. Backline will be provided – just bring you and your creativity.

The metal-fest starts at 7:00 with the boys turning up on an armoured car. The first support band play at 7:30 and the Sins will be taking to the stage at 9:00.

Open mic night , bring guitars , there’s all the pa system and mics setup there , and amps. so just bring guitars or any other instruments maybe interesting.

Histon Unplugged has come around again and next Tuesday (14th June) we will be showcasing Christian Jones. Considering his age, Chris is already an Unplugged “veteran”, since he has been coming and playing for us regularly over recent years. Expect an interesting selection of covers, from Johnny Cash to Show of Hands…

As usual Unplugged starts at 8.30, and there will also be several open mic slots available before and after Chris’ performance, which starts at 9pm.
