A new regular Gamlingay Records session in the Pig and Falcon in St Neots is starting on 30th January. Any act that wants to play (solo artists, acoustic, bands… anything really, the more diverse the better) should contact Jay Roberts. Backline will be provided – just bring you and your creativity.

The metal-fest starts at 7:00 with the boys turning up on an armoured car. The first support band play at 7:30 and the Sins will be taking to the stage at 9:00.

Histon Unplugged has come around again and next Tuesday (14th June) we will be showcasing Christian Jones. Considering his age, Chris is already an Unplugged “veteran”, since he has been coming and playing for us regularly over recent years. Expect an interesting selection of covers, from Johnny Cash to Show of Hands…
As usual Unplugged starts at 8.30, and there will also be several open mic slots available before and after Chris’ performance, which starts at 9pm.

The Crown and Cushion in Great Gransden, Cambridgeshire, plays host again to their 5th Gamlingay Records Acoustic night.
You can be assured of ukelele’s, guitars, maybe a bass, a violin, some bagpipes or even a Hardanger Fiddle . . . as well as some unaccompanied voice (if we can persuade Debbie and or Emma).
There is no charge to get in and children are welcome. Feel free to bring an instrument and take part. Talk to Phil if you want to book a slot . . .
