Gamlingay Records

After a great deal of pressure from the landlord, we have agreed to restart the legendary acoustic nights at the Crown and Cushion in Great Gransden.

February 8th will be the first of the new gigs.

All are welcome. Acoustic instruments are the norm,  but styles range from folk to punk, with even some classical thrown in sometimes. If you want a slot, talk to Phil. Usually acts are limited to 3 songs or 15 minutes, but it depends how many want to play.

Don’t be afraid… come and play

A new regular Gamlingay Records session in the Pig and Falcon in St Neots is starting on 30th January. Any act that wants to play (solo artists, acoustic, bands… anything really, the more diverse the better) should contact Jay Roberts. Backline will be provided – just bring you and your creativity.

Gamlingay Records’ first album, from 2008, is now on iTunes, Spotify and pretty much every other digital bucket worth its salt. Go and buy it now, by searching for, well, Gamlingay Records. The metal-fest starts at 7:00 with the boys turning up on an armoured car. The first support band play at 7:30 and the Sins will be taking to the stage at 9:00.

Support bands are As God and Maidallica. It’s a night of metal mayhem. You have been warned!

Open mic night , bring guitars , there’s all the pa system and mics setup there , and amps. so just bring guitars or any other instruments maybe interesting.

Come along in your shorts to the next acoustic night at Great Gransden’s famous Crown and Cushion pub. Free entry, good beer, lots of good music and singing and sometimes some dancing. It’s summertime!!
